During our ikebana year, members of Chapter 167 also participate in special events around our Phoenix area and share their love of ikebana and their talents with the general public.
Phoenix Art Museum
The Phoenix Art Museum’s juried Arts & Flowers exhibit presents floral interpretations of selected art pieces. Chapter 167 members have often participated in this prestigious event.
Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix
A traditional 3.5-acre Japanese Stroll Garden with a tea garden and tea house, the Japanese Friendship Garden is a joint project of the City of Phoenix and their Sister City Himeji, Japan. The Garden is often host to various ikebana exhibits, which our prolific Chapter members often participate in.
